Re-Cap: Week with Alex + Albert!

Wednesday, 1st August '07:
Went to the airport to pick them up. Flight due to arrive at 6.40pm. Left from Times Square after watching 'The Simpsons' with Vince. Haha, was hilarious!! ;D

Haha.. Well, then we waited for about half an hour, because they had to get through immigration and shit which took quite awhile. Yeah, finally met up with two of my closest, favourite cousins! Been half a year, been half a year.
Headed to One World Hotel where they would be 'staying' for the next week, before going to the New Wing Cinema - GSC i think?, well then decided to watch Harry Potter and the Order Of the Phoenix! Woohoo, second time for me! Also ate 'dinner' in the movies, had some caramel popcorn, 1901 hot dog.. yeah, all the crap you get at the cinema.
Was not bad, even if it was my second time watching it.
When we got out of the cinema and left for the hotel, there were Whoppers waiting for us outside Burger King. Shit full, was pretty sick, stuffing that burger down at midnight.

Thursday, 2nd August '07:

Left the house at about 11am with Mom and Popo to go to One World, make the switch - for Popo to stay over at the hotel and for Alex and Albert to come over my place for the next week. We then had lunch at T.G.I. Fridays, just had a simple salad and some chic-ken. Then Nick and Chang Chuan came over for lunch as well. Then we went up to shoot some pool and bowled a game where we pretty much sucked. But me and Alex at least made it past a 105. Lol. Went down for abit, to the Vault! A family place. Alex got another ring, and i totally got pierced. Woohoo! Check out the video at:

Then Nick had to go for work and CC went for his.. violin lesson? Yeah, then met up with my bro. Haha, then we had to go to KLCC. Nick drove us over there, and we went to get Alex's and Albert's eyes checked like they do every time they come over at Alpha Optical before booking tickets to watch 'The Simpsons' (note: second time in two days). Then went to reserve a table for 9 at Madam Kwan's for dinner later. Well, the movie turned out to be almost as funny as the first time i watched it!
Almost everyone later had Nasi Lemak, which is probably the most popular, and the signature dish of the place. Went to Nike after, wanted to check out Manchester United's new jersey for the upcoming 2007-08 season! Was awesome, but i wanted to get a long-sleeved one, so probably get Mom to get it for me when she heads to England next month! Woohoo!
Dad then picked us up and took us back home.


Friday, 3rd August '07:

Well, today we're off to Sunway Lagoon! Got up a little late, and only left the house at abit past 9, but my bro had to go to college at 9.30.. so yeah. Made it there after rushing, just before 10. Then went and was first in line at Sunway, but it didn't open till 11, so we had to wait for awhile. Got 3 tickets for the Theme Park + 'Extreme Park', for RM55, which to me is pretty steep, especially since the 'Extreme Park' turned out to be extremely not extreme, and was run through pretty damn fast, definitely wasn't worth the extra money paid. Pfft. Went in and first went to the 'Extreme' area, and waited for the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) ride, which was pretty good. Especially the part where we went off-road onto the rough, pretty cool. But it seemed short, missed Alex trying to 'skid'.. lol. And dammit, the guy said we could only do it ONCE? WTF? The guy asked us to go do something else before coming back, then he said we couldn't do it again.. Seriously retarded.
We went kayaking, me and Albert in one kayak around the lake next to the surf pool, which was quite dirty, but i couldn't help splashing that crap over myself while paddling..lol. Then we went to eat lunch by the surf pool before changing and keeping our stuff in the lockers..most sensible thing to do since we didn't want to carry around any cash or stuff.
Did probably almost everything we could do in the water park, and got quite bored of everything there.. my feet were kinda sore, and sandy. Got washed up, then walked over to Sunway Pyramid.
Went to Waffle World and stuffed ourselves with a couple of waffles and a coney dog. Haha, was damn good, and after that we went and had four bucks left..:

Haha, been eating junk the whole day.. felt bad for my body.
Then i we went out to meet my Mom and Sai Yee (Alex's mom), who took us back to 1 Utama. Met up with my bro there, after he'd finish college. Pity he had to miss out on earlier..
We went to watch Disturbia, and when we wanted to enter the cinema, there was no one there to collect tickets, and there was just a red tape to prevent people from going in, so we just slid under and went in..lol.
It was pretty good. Shia LaBeouf had another good movie. That's two for the summer of 07.. damn. Oh well. Later we played some pool, and bowled a little (i think).
Then we went back to my place, and just went online and "chilled" (BRO RAPE..no, just kidding..)

Anyways, then we watched an episode of Two and a Half Men that featured Megan Fox (aka Mikaela from Transformers).And yes, we only watched because of that. And yes, that's the only episode i have. ;)
Then at about 2am we watched American Pie 5 - The Naked Mile! Haha, was so funny, but i drifted to sleep at about 3.. but Alex stayed up till about 4+ i think. Shit son, we're planning to go rock climbing later!


Saturday, 4th August '07:
Latest we woke up was today.. at around 12? Later Dad came back, bought some food back. We shared a bit. I was still a little full from earlier. Then, we decided to go rock climbing anyways despite the fact that we were totally wasted @ Camp5, 1U.
Only RM17 for the whole day - student price. Well, i learnt how to put on a harness properly, and sort of how to belay. We went climbing on the Automatic Walls (where we don't need two people, because the harness is attached to an automatic pulley), on the Practice Walls, some of the lower walls, and free climbed! Free climbing - no harness, no safety, nothing, was, i think, the best. Most freedom, and most challenging, and to me, was the most fun. When you're unsupported, even if there's cushion down there, you'll try your best not to fall. Was especially difficult to try to turn corners! But i managed it once.. i think my size this time helped..haha
After about two hours of climbing, my arms were totally sore.. especially my forearms and biceps. Just managed to get back to the hotel, quite worn out. Took a shower there, changed, and then we went for dinner.


Sunday, 5th August '07:
Okay, today we planned to go to Sungei Wang early in the day, at about 11-ish, to try to find an Orioles baseball cap for Alex and a belt and shirt for Albert.
So yeah, we reached there, and literally walked around the whole of Sungei Wang, and the adjoining BB Plaza. Yes, all 5 floors. Lol. But we did manage to get some cool TRANSFORMERS tees.
Then later we had to go, by monorail to Concorde for dim sum. Had to meet everyone there by 12.30. There ate with Mom, Dad, Bro, Nick, Chang Chuan, Popo, Sum Yee, Sai Yee, Yee Yee, Han Yi, Warren.. plus Albert and Alex, i think its about 14 people total.
Yeah, pretty big group. Met Han Yi after such a long time.. such a bubbly person. Lol.
After that, we had to go to KLCC to get Alex and Albert's glasses done, their appointment at Alpha Optical was at 3pm. But my bro and Dad had to go do some things, so the rest, 12 of us all went to KLCC, and just chilled at Starbucks while waiting for the glasses.. the cheesecake there was really good.
In the evening, we then returned, yet again, to One Utama. Had dinner at some Chinese restaurant called the Dragon or something. Was kinda Taiwanese, had La Mian and stuff. Didn't really fancy the noodles i had. Later me, Alex and Albert went to catch another movie, Vacancy, and shot some pool while waiting for it.
The movie was alright, pretty scary at parts.. haha. Especially the bang bang banging on the doors and shit. And the videos in the room! Holy shit. Pretty fucked up.
Yeah, then later we walked through the empty mall (which was also quite fucked up since we just watched that shit), back to One World, where we met Mom and went back.
And yeah, another late night, watched some spoofs on YouTube and some of The Office online before retiring sorta "early" at about 3.. Well, it WAS the final night. So sad.


Monday, 6th August '07:
Oh god, today we all woke up because of some craving for McDonald's breakfast..haha. We managed to leave the house by 10.40, and took a cab to Times Square. On the way there, we stopped over the McDonald's at the Projet station and got the cab to go to the Drive-Thru. Lol. Bought like.. 5 Sausage McMuffins and a hash brown! Only cost like RM15 total to get to Times Square from my place, pretty cheap.
And so started the great walk.. we walked around each and every floor for 5 floors, looking for baseball caps, and belts. But couldn't find em at all, even after asking the Information Counter where we could find em, the guy just made us go to four different sports shops all without caps.. -.-.
Then we bought tickets for The Invisible, and went to get some lunch, which turned out to be McD's again. We still had two hours to kill before the movie and so we went bowling again! Haha, bought like 4 games each for a little less than RM40! So cheap, because of some Early Bird promotion!. Was great, just kept bowling, trying out new shit, and crap..haha

Okay okay, big warning now, serious FYI to everyone.
DON'T GO AND WATCH " THE INVISIBLE ".
It is so lame, and we wasted 30 bucks. Pfft. The poster created an illusion of the movie being scary and shit, but its definitely wasn't. Disappointing really.
Then after the movie my phone was some how dead, despite having charged it for awhile this morning..weird. Called Mom and it turned out they had "come" to Times Square already, and seeing as they couldn't reach us, they'd left and went back to Yee Yee's house.. -.-
So we had to take the monorail and LRT to get to Bangsar so that her driver could get us. Damn we were so worn out. Rest and ate abit of durian there, then went and ate a little at Little Penang at The Curve.

Spent the last hours with Alex and Albert by doing what we'ev been doing alot the past week.

B O W L I N G!

Well, this time my bro joined us, and we played around 5 games each..until we were practically broke.. On the 2nd last game, we decided to play 'for real' and our scores like went up a lot from our previous rounds, my bro hit 145, i got 135 and Albert hit 139? And.. Alex was using his left-hand still cos his right was sore, so exclude him from this. =p
Then shot a few games of pool before getting called back to the hotel because it was almost 1am already..haha.
Finally, we had to say goodbye. It'd passed all way too fast. Wasn't sure when i would get to meet em next, what with college and everything, so was sad. Hopefully, i'll be able to go over to Beijing this winter or next summer (Olympics baby)! =)
